This project is conceptual in nature and is proposed for a location in Yerevan, next to Saralanji Street, on Myasnikyan Avenue. The positioning and shape of the building volume are derived from the natural topography of the movement of the sun. Due to the curved solution, the inner courtyard appears enclosed; it accommodates entertainment, water features, recreational areas, playgrounds for children, etc. Taking advantage of the sun’s movement, the residential zones with their balconies and hanging green gardens are arranged along the outer curve of the building. Public, business, and entertainment zones are located in the inner part of the curved volume. Design considerations for both color and meaning were carefully incorporated throughout the complex.
