“Kinopark” Cinema Yerevan Mall

The “Kinopark” cinema is an integral part of the “Yerevan Mall” commercial and entertainment center. After the opening, in 2014, it was decided to further expand the area of the multi-functional center and build a 6-hall cinema. German architect Walter Akhatz, an expert in cinema design, was involved in the development of the project. “Archangel” company collaborated with the Akhatsi team to undertake the project. After a long and extensive planning, the implementation phase began, lasting for 9 months. On December 5, 2015, the official opening of the “Kinopark” cinema took place. The building is rectangular and is located on the second floor of a separate building of “Yerevan Mall”: the first floor connects the cinema building to the shopping center. “Kinopark” consists of 6 halls, one of which is the Premium Hall, and another which is equipped with a special Dolby Atmos sound system. There are also 4 standard halls. The cash desk and the rest area are located in the central separate part while the administrative area is located on the third floor of the building. In 2016, the “Kinopark” cinema was awarded the “Best Interior of the Year” award at the annual interior competition of Armenia.
