7 Ktoor Residential complex

The 7 Ktoor residential complex is a small block of mixed-type residences located in Dilijan, Armenia. The natural slope of the land facilitated the construction of residential houses with uniform floor plans, resulting in a dynamic architectural context characterized by frontal terracing. Taking advantage of the favorable orientation of the sun’s movement and the need for a parking space, a terrace solution was implemented in front of each house, directly connected to the kitchen.
This design feature effectively isolates the houses from the street traffic and noise. Additionally, at the back of the houses, gardens with individual kitchen areas have been constructed, ensuring complete independence from one another. The exterior of the houses is predominantly adorned with white facade paint. However, in certain areas, a row of varied basalt paintings is incorporated, while the border residences will feature a row of red tuff to enhance the complexity of the complex.
