The project was named “Salamander” for its form. It is a complex surrounded by nature, which finally took its shape after long negotiations and discussions within our group. The topic of discussion was the interconnection between nature and the complex. According to some members of the group, the complex should have been completely separated from nature, creating a logical contrast between nature and architecture. However, another part of the team favoured designing the complex in harmony with nature, low-rise, and maximally passive.
Thus, the image of the complex was created through a compromise between these two approaches. The facades of the complex are mostly made of materials that replicate and reflect nature and the design of the roof creates a distinct contrast that in no way hinders the surrounding green environment. The complex is planned to include a hotel section, a pool, an entertainment center, a restaurant, and a spa.
