This project stands out from our other works, presenting a special challenge for our group. Situated at the beginning of Yerevan’s Azatutyan Avenue, it involved the transformation of an existing private near the monument into an embassy. The mansion, originally constructed in classical forms and clad with felsite stone, underwent a bold modernization. Intriguing volumes of concrete and expansive glass windows, adorned with external metal coverings featuring renowned Arab ornament motifs known as “Mashrabiya,” were incorporated.
